MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Road and Bridge Department is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system for Marion County by effectively coordinating maintenance and appropriate construction.  This is achieved through management of an ongoing maintenance program and implementation of an aggressive improvement program.

ABOUT MARION COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE:

Road and Bridge is responsible for over 1,600 miles of roads and 302 bridges within Marion County.  The Road and Bridge Department handles the operation and maintenance of roads, bridges and intersections to ensure safe pasage through our county.  Road and Bridge has an aggressive approach to preventative maintenance, making Marion County a great place to live.
