The County Appraiser’s office does not create value. Value is determined by market transactions. The values established by our office are a reflection of what is happening in the market place. The appraiser has the legal duty to analyze all sale transactions and appraise properties in accordance with such transactions.

The Marion County Appraiser’s Office is located on the lower floor of the Courthouse on the square in Marion. Marion County is in the central time zone.
