flu clinics

Flu Vaccines are Available!

Flu Clinics will be open around the County during the month of October.

Flu vaccines are also available at the Marion County Health Department on Wednesdays or by appointment.

The Marion County Health Department's mission is to Prevent, Promote and Protect the health and well-being of Marion County residents. We aim to provide the services necessary to give Marion County residents the opportunity to enjoy good health in a healthy environment. These goals are reached by offering the following, along with other health-related services:

Immunization Clinics are held every Wednesday; please call for an appointment. Shots can be scheduled on other days of the week to accommodate your schedule, if a nurse is available. We accept BCBS, Medicaid and Medicare insurances, as well as cash payments. No one is denied services because of race, sex, age or inability pay.

WIC services (Women, Infants, & Children) are available every Thursday. Please call Lori Bebermeyer to discuss WIC eligibility or make a WIC appointment. To speak to our Registered Dietician, ask for Sherie Moody.

Flu Clinics are held September - November at schools and community centers throughout the County, making it easy for residents to get protection from flu viruses. The Flu Clinic Schedule will be posted on this site by Labor Day. Jessica Gilbert is the Flu Clinic Coordinator.

Maternal Child Care & Healthy Start Home Visitor services are provided by Harvey County Health Department personnel, who come to Marion County Health Department on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month. To schedule a visit, call 620-382-2550.
