The purpose of the Marion County Historical Society is to document, preserve, protect, and promote awareness and education of the rich history of Marion County Kansas for all current and future generations. To this end, an effective collaboration and cooperation with all museums and historical entities, education institutions, both public and private, and persons interested in the history of Marion County, Kansas are actively sought and encouraged.
